Yakari
Yakari, un jeune indien sioux, est fasciné par Petit-Tonnerre, un fier mustang qui ne veut pas se laisser approcher. Un jour, le petit garçon sauve le cheval. En guise de remerciement, un grand aigle, son animal totem, lui donne une plume qui lui confère le don de parler et de comprendre les animaux. Yakari croise à nouveau le chemin de Petit-Tonnerre, qui découvre pourquoi la tribu l'appelle ainsi. Le destrier, pourtant rebelle, et Yakari deviennent amis. Afin de retrouver les siens en pleine migration, le jeune Sioux va parcourir des kilomètres avec Petit Tonnerre jusqu’au territoire des terribles chasseurs à peaux de puma…
