Dark River

Après quinze ans d'absence, Alice est de retour dans son Yorshire natal. Son père est décédé et elle vient donc réclamer la ferme qu'il lui avait promise. Elle la retrouve dans un piteux état et découvre une affaire familiale au bord de la faillite. Mais, son frère Joe n'entend pas lui céder l'exploitation dont il s'est occupé depuis des années. Il noit sa rage dans l'alcool et mène la vie dure à sa soeur. Alice, qui doit gérer un lourd passé, est bien décidée à récupérer son bien. Attachée à sa terre, elle va toute tenter pour faire renaître cette ferme, lieu de tant de drames...
